Karen S. Johnson Woman of Distinction Award 

Our Karen S. Johnson Woman of Distinction award is named after our friend Karen Schmitt Johnson who was a

long time member of Consociates. Since 1993, the annual Women of Distinction award recognizes a woman in

our community for her service, education reform, professional accomplishments, or civic leadership. In 2010,

after Karen's tragic death, the award was renamed to honor her leadership, commitment and achievements that

truly made her a "Woman of Distinction". The 2022 Karen S. Johnson Woman of Distinction award will be

presented to Ann Hoffman.
